Notes on the Annual Licence
(a) The annual licence is good for one year, at the end of which - if you don't renew it - the software will stop working, as it does at the end of the initial trial period - until you do renew it.
(b) The cost of renewing an annual licence is whatever the price of an annual licence is at the time of renewal, which may vary from year to year as prices change in general, and therefore may be either higher or lower than the price you pay for your first annual licence.
(c) You will not need to buy more than 3 annual licences. If you purchase an annual licence and renew it twice more, then in return for your 3rd payment you will receive an unlimited licence. You can look on this as spreading the cost of an unlimited licence over 3 years, which may be an advantage in some circumstances. The disadvantage is that the total cost is not fixed at the outset - and if the prices rise during the 3-year period, you might end up paying significantly more in total than the cost of an unlimited licence by single payment at the outset. (Of course if the prices go down, you may end up paying less!)
(d) At any time during the 1st year of an annual licence, you may exchange it for an unlimited licence, by paying the difference between what you paid for your first annual instalment and the single payment price obtaining at the time. In other words, if you start out with an annual licence but later decide you'd prefer an unlimited licence, then provided you do it before the first renewal comes around, you do not have to wait the full 3 years (and accept whatever price changes may be in the pipeline.) Instead you can buy an unlimited licence at whatever the going rate is at the time, and whatever you have paid up until then for an annual licence will be credited against that purchase.
